Watch dinosaurs come alive as we venture into the new Dinosaur Valley – Singapore Zoo’s latest attraction- which presents lifelike animatronics of 16 dinosaur species including T-Rex and Spinosaurus. This exhibit seeks to highlight awareness on a possible sixth extinction as the world has already lost 67 per cent of the world’s biodiversity in the last 50 years, according to Wildlife Reserves Singapore Director of Education May Loke. Visitors to the zoo will at the same time be able to learn about the link between these prehistoric animals, and some of the current living animals at the zoo and River Safari.
Parents, your kids are going to love this.
Imagine dinosaurs on the loose at Mandai, to be more specific, at Zoo-rassic Park – the dinosaur-themed event at the Singapore Zoo and River Safari.
From Nov 26 to Dec 18 2016, visitors to the zoo will be greeted by two dino mascots before venturing to the newly installed Dinosaur Valley in Singapore Zoo.
“They can also visit River Safari and look at animals that have ‘escaped extinction’. These animals are living fossils and look like their ancient ancestors. They haven’t changed much. ” said Ms May Lok.
These animals include the Alligator Snapping Turtle, Indian Gharial and Giant Salamander.
Exciting holidays coming up, isn’t it?
